Rick, Susan, and daughter Amy Poss own and operate St. Paul East RV Park. Amy is assuming increasing responsibility for leading the business. Along with son, Matt, the Poss family has owned and operated the park since 1991.

The park is not just a business to the Poss family, it’s also their spring, summer, and early fall home. “We take great pride in the quality and cleanliness of our facilities and grounds, our beautiful landscaping, and our friendly, professional staff.

Rick was a senior executive and officer with a major computer, data collection, services and software company until the late ‘90’s, when he retired. Susan was a teacher and stay -at- home mom before deciding to purchase the RV park. “It was a good opportunity to have a family-owned business in a growing, successful industry,” said Susan. “And it was a great training, learning, and maturing opportunity for the children.”

After 14 years in the business and completion of his undergraduate and Master’s degrees, son Matt began his career as an officer in the U.S Navy. He has served in WA as an officer on the USS Maine, a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine; at the U.S. Defense Supply Center in VA; on the USS Blue Ridge LLC-19, Yokosuka, Japan, the command and control ship for the Southern Fleet; in Monterey, CA at the Naval Post Graduate School to obtain a MBA; and is currently a LT commander serving in MD at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River. He and his wife have 3 children ages 6, 5, & 1.

Amy completed her teaching undergraduate degree in biology and German Education. She decided to assume on-going responsibility for managing the RV park business in 2008 with Rick and Susan. She is certified as an emergency medical technician; instructed 6th grade Collier County students in the Big Cypress National Preserve; licensed to practice equine acupressure and Reiki on horses; and manages and builds her Isagenix business (a solutions based nutritional health and wellness company).

Rick, Susan, and Amy spend their winters at their Marco Island, FL home enjoying RVing, golf, and kayaking. Amy also spends her time with her horse, Tigger, guiding overnight kayak trips in the Ten Thousand Islands, volunteering for the Southwest Florida Thoroughbred Horse Rescue, and growing her Isagenix business.

Our friendly, professional staff includes folks from the local community as well as RVers who work and live with us at the park during the summer months. They are selected because of their knowledge, their great work ethic, and the respect they have for you. Our goal is to provide you with an excellent RV/camping experience.

Come and meet the Poss family and staff!
